Tianjin secured safety in the Chinese Super League (CSL) on Wednesday, thanks to a late goal from their top scorer, Zhang Yuxiang.

The victory over Shanghai Shenhua meant that Tianjin will avoid relegation for the first time since 2015, and also gave them a point away at Shanghai SIPG in the league table.

Zhang's goal came in the 87th minute, after a breakaway move by Tianjin had seen them take the lead.

It was a well-deserved win for Tianjin, who have struggled all season under new coach, Gao Lin.

However, they face a tough challenge ahead as they look to maintain their position in the league.
