The Spanish club Valencia has announced that it will earn a transfer revenue of €30 million (approximately $35.4 million) in the current financial year, thanks to its players' sales.
According to the announcement, the club sold several key players during the summer transfer window, including defenders Samuel Umtiti and Nicolas Pépé, as well as midfielders Adrien Rabiot and Carlos Soler.
The club also sold a number of other players during the previous season, but these were not as significant as those mentioned above.
The transfer revenue is expected to be used by the club to invest in new signings, improve existing players, and fund training facilities and other infrastructure projects.
The club's CEO, Jordi Mestre, said: "We are delighted with this result and we are proud to have been able to achieve such a high level of revenue through our player sales."
He added: "This is just one part of our strategy to continue building a strong team and to ensure that we can compete at the highest levels of European football."
The club's financial performance has been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, which has led to reduced income and higher expenses for the club.
However, the club has still managed to generate positive results, despite the challenges faced.
In addition to the transfer revenue, Valencia has also generated revenues from ticket sales and merchandise sales.
The club has also invested heavily in youth development, with plans to create a new academy in the coming years.
Overall, the club's focus on player sales is likely to continue, as it looks to build a competitive squad and secure future success in Europe's top leagues.
