Bournemouth have continued their impressive run of form with a thrilling 2-1 victory over Fulham at the Vitality Stadium on Saturday.

The Cherries, who were without their injured star striker Ryan Fraser, took control of the game early on and looked set to secure all three points when Callum Wilson scored in the 57th minute.

However, Fulham hit back with a stunning equaliser just four minutes later as substitute Ryan Babel headed home from a corner.

In a tense final ten minutes, Bournemouth held on for a hard-fought win, thanks to a late winner from Josh King.

It was a testament to the quality of the players on show that they could come back from such a deficit to take all three points.

Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe praised his team's character after the match, saying: "We're disappointed not to get three points but we've got a good performance today."

He also highlighted the importance of the win for morale and confidence ahead of next week's crucial Premier League clash against Manchester United.

For Fulham, it was a disappointing result which leaves them in mid-table position and will no doubt be a wake-up call for the club's management and players.

Overall, it was another impressive display from Bournemouth, who continue to defy expectations and prove that they can compete with the big boys in the Premier League.
